Why you should avoid SOY
Soy!!! Do you eat it often? If you say, "No"... I want to ask, "Are you sure?" I have came across so many that don't look at ingredients in things but only calories and fat grams. One reason is that they are unsure of what to even look for on the ingredient list. So one thing that I want to breakdown that is found in a lot of foods and supplements is SOY.
Over 90% of soy produced in the U.S. is genetically modified and the crops are sprayed with the herbicide Roundup, which has been shown to be associated with adverse effects on our health! Not only is that a concern but also the effects that soy has on our hormones!
For women studies have shown that soy can stimulate the cancerous activity from the cells in the breast. For men exposure to soy in the womb can lead to adverse effects on their sexual development. Some studies even linking an abundance of soy to a decrease in male fertility.
Even soy based formula for infants is said to only be used as a last resort due to the much higher amounts of aluminum present within the milk.
In conclusion, to me soy is something that I have very little of in my diet! I find that some people drink it every day in their supplements. I hate to see so many people cheated out of their health, when all they are trying to do is regain a little hope that they are doing the right thing.
The dangerous effects on our health from Soy was one thing that was brought to my attention after I became a coach! I began my journey as a coach with a little knowledge but over the last 2.5 years I've collected a lot of data and learned from a lot of online articles, books, documentary's, other coaches and even from my challengers!!
It's never to late to learn or make changes!! You can do this!
